Green Earth Appeal is a partner of the UNITED NATIONS Environment Programme.

The Green Earth Appeal and the United Nations Environment Programme are working to reduce the carbon in the atmosphere through tree planting. We are also promoting the use of renewable energy because 30% of the UK's carbon comes from burning fossil fuels to generate electricity. Our target is to plant 100,000 trees by the end of 2010.
